at least 5 hours is not more. It is part of my daily routine to see every thing this is going on.

5. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
je parle frances (I speak french), I am in student council at my school and the go to person with in my group of friends. I know a good amount about trade-value. I do know how the oekaki works.

6. Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I love people. People make me so happy, and this community makes me feel right at home. Ever sense I joined I felt like a belong. I love talking to others and i join the join mes a lot cause I just want to talk to other. I love the things that amuse you thread. it's just amazing here and I would love to do more to help ever one.

I usually visit every day, unless I don't have computer access, which is unusual.

It really depends, If I don't have school I can spend almost the whole day on here XD. (I have a mobile device I can use to access CS) If I have school, then 3-4 hours, maybe more, depending on homework.

Do you consider yourself a trade-value expert? Do you already answer a lot of questions in the forum? Do you know how all the tools/options in the oekaki work?)

Yes, I'm good at staying calm in a situation and can answer most forum questions. I know all the rules on this site and have never broken a rule (on here) before.
I have been put in leadership roles in RL multiple times, including captains of sports teams, student council, scouts, and leader of projects. I also take care of my younger brother and sister, and they are a handful, I can tell you that ^^. I also help tutor other students at my school when I can. I am both mature and responsible.
I can speak Chinese, but I can't read much of it, so It may not be of much help, but I will be taking a French class this year, and I hope to eventually be able to fluently speak French. I am very good with grammar and such in English. I never curse in RL or on the internet, so I will never let anything slip.

6.Why do you want to be a General Helper?

Almost exactly a year ago, I was a new player and I remember being clueless about rarities and such. With the generous help of others, I managed to become a somewhat successful player who knows her rarities and all the rules on CS. I would enjoy helping new (or any) players every day. When I help people both in RL and on this site, it makes me happy and I would love to do it full time. I am able accept other's opinions and I would never yell or get angry at another user for any reason. I actually enjoy settling fights and am able to see both sides of people's stories. I frequently browse the CS suggestions/problems board on my spare time to see if I could answer any questions. (Which, as most people with tell you, are already answered) I am willing to answer PMs asking questions. I don't want to gain anything from this position, I just want to help people. I love CS and I would be thrilled to help out the CS coummunity!

I visit every day unless I'm away on vacation or am completely unable to get onto the Internet (which isn't often.)

At the moment, I spend most of the day on this website. On days when I have a lot of plans, I try to get on the website for at least an hour, and usually I do.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?
I can speak a little bit of Spanish, and I know a few words in French. I am also familiar with German and Dutch, but I can't speak those languages. I know my way around the website very well, and I'm pretty good with rarity values. I try to help new users as much as I can, and I sometimes give free pets to new users. I'm not quite as familiar with Oekaki, but I have used it before and know the basics of the system. I have answered questions for other people about account settings, drafts, forum posts, and things like that.
Why do you want to be a General Helper?
Mostly because I want to help users on the website. I have asked General Helpers things before when I was new here, and I want to pass that on to other users. I love helping other people, and not just on this particular website. People have asked me questions on a website called MagiStream, and I answered them as best as I can. Offline, I try to help out my friends with actual stuff in life, and I have a few friends that have accounts on ChickenSmoothie, too. I want other people to be able to come to me with questions they may have about ChickenSmoothie, and I want them to know that I'll be able to answer them.

I am very good at following normal procedures and explain things for others often enough to know how chicken smoothie works.I have had experience with problems and learned how to fix them before and i am able to help with many problems that arise in chicken smoothie.
Why do you want to be a General Helper? I want to be a general helper so that i can help others more efficiently and make chicken smoothie easier for new and old people who are having difficulties.

I know a lot of rules of CS and I saw some mods give advice to others. I have bookmarked a lot of usefull threads, that I can advice to other players too. I am not a rarity/demand expert, but I try to advice what I really know for sure. I know some things about Oekaki, but not overything. But for that, I bookmarked the "How to use the Oekaki" thread from another CS user. I speak Englisch and Dutch, and I can use Google translate for other languages. I sniff around in the forums and saw an auction in the trade section. I adviced them to repost it in the auctions and close the one in the wrong section. They appriciated my help, and did it.
People can always PM me if they need help, and I love to help others. I sniff around the forums a lot, willing to help people out.

Why do you want to be a General Helper? I really want to help people on CS. I don't care about a colored name, I just want to help everyone out. Make it a little easier for the other staff, help out the CS members, help out to improve CS. By that I mean I want to help out the members on CS to let them understand things better. I am not perfect, no one is. But I will try my best.
Even if I won't be selected, I will watch the forums to help people out.

Yes, I answer a lot of questions and I am pretty good with trade values.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?: Because I love to help people and I don't get angry very often. I know how to settle arguments without getting others mad and I am constantly on CS.

I visit CS every day. Of course, during the summer I have been online less due to vacations with no internet access, and next week I will again be gone. Come September however, I will be free to be online every day.

quick note: in Spring 2012 I was not as active, because I was going through an extremely stressful period of my life and was forced to take a break from CS. However, I have returned for good this time and will be the active member that I was before that. (:

When I come on CS I tend to leave the tab open while on other sites, checking messages and trading, and of course generally posting in the forums. I am available to be on for at least two hours a day during the week and up to four or five on the weekends. If I was to be chosen to be a general helper, I would most likely spend more of my time on CS as I would have more responsibilities! But yes, I do meet the requirement of coming on for two or more hours a day. ^^

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?

Well, I know my way around CS enough to help any user with 99% of any questions they may have. I know the rules of Chicken Smoothie of course, but I also know how the site works and how things go.

I spend a fair amount of time on the Fair Trade thread, and while some things I am unsure on, I try my best to help members with trades I do understand. After months of learning and making trading mistake after trading mistake that comes with being a new member, I am proud to say that I know my rarities solidly.

In dealing with people - which is of course the main job of a general helper - I do my absolute best to be polite and courteous, even if they are frustrating. I use correct spelling and grammar, and am never rude. I think those skills must count for something. ^^

The Oekaki itself (as in the actual drawing part) I'm not as good with, as I'm no artist, but I do love to browse through the forums and have a good understanding for how it is organized and which artwork belongs where, if anyone were to have a question about that.

I also moderate another forum, so I am fairly experienced with forums in general. :)

Why do you want to be a General Helper?

I think that it would be an incredible honor and opportunity. It is something that any member would want; to be looked up to, admired, and respected. I try to gift users on a daily basis, make friends, and just enjoy my time here. To be acknowledged by CS as a friendly, helpful, and just a good user in general would be something that I could not pass up.

I know what it's like to join a forum as big as this one; it can be somewhat overwhelming. To make one person's experience here better makes me happier too, and being recognized as someone who does that is something really, really special. To be given the chance to help this forum would mean a lot to me, because I myself spend a lot of time here. I don't mind answering questions, I don't mind getting PMs or even saying the same thing over and over again.

In the end, it doesn't matter whether you choose me or not; I will still be able to help others and earn respect without the pale pink username. Best of luck to all the applicants!

Hmmm, usually every day, if not then every other day.

Usually around 3+, though probably broken up. I mostly derp around in the roleplays, but also hop around things, like CS Pet adoption threads, non-CS Pet Adoption threads, and Oekaki.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
Well, I've knowledge of the Oekaki, trading system and rarieties (though I may have to go through some of the pets, because of the new rariety change). I can't really speak any other languages, but I know a little bit of French and Spanish. A very little bit x3. I can identify most of the older pets by names and rarities as well. I'm good with a bit of forum coding (like posting images without using photobucket, etc). I'm also familiar with the CS rules and regulations.

Why do you want to be a General Helper?
I just adore this lil community known as Chicken Smoothie! I love every bit of it, from the pets, to the people, to the staff, to roleplaying, and everything in between! I've always reminisced about being a staff member or an artist, or just something where I could help others x3 But I doubted those dreams would come true. So, when I found this oppertunity, I immediatly had to take it! I know there are like, hundreds of other players who may qualify more than I do, but being a part of the CS Staff team would be such an honor! Plus, I really enjoy helping people, and I'm easy to cope and work with. I know, with a pretty-colored name would come pretty big responisibility, and I'm willing to accept it! I love new CS members x3 I'm even starting a center dedicated to newbies, where they can adopt older pets and whatnot x3. Thanks for this oppertunity!
