Wow, somebody just deleted those posts. Anyways, it should be up to Tess to decide what to do. If she's known about it for so long and hasn't done anything about it until now (and 'art theft' isn't even the main reason they want to change it), it must not be too important to them.

Because people keep making off-topic posts. We're getting really tired of repeating ourselves on this one, guys, but if it's not directly related to the lineart change, it doesn't belong here and will be deleted.

I would have to say I'm stuck on borderline.I love the idea of redrawing the horses/ponies,seeing that I love yulph ponies very much[ignore that XD].I'm especially curious to see the new unicorn lines.
If I'm being honest,I only really liked equimagine's draft lineart and PPS lineart like the Buckskin and Dice,but alas I believe they would have to go sooner or later.And I know I'm somewhat shocked that they say she traced,but I can understand if it was a careless mistake.That's why the whole photo tracing situation will not/cannot influence my opinion.

So I guess after typing this debate with myself,I must say yes to the new lineart changes

Or thought about them?

The more I think about it the more I like the idea.
Someone said a few pages back, that they think the old line art is awkward.
I have to agree.
Yun's are more anatomically accurate.
Some of you say the old ones look dynamic..
I disagree. I think they look forever tense.
That's like saying a mouse with scoliosis looks more dynamic than one with a relaxed spine.

I also think most of us are hardly affected by a change in lineart anyway.
The only people who really have a right to complain would be of three main sets.
1.)You collect them.
2.)You hoard a outcome or two.
3.) one of your dreamies is one.

I'd be peeved if my advent changed.
But if it were say, a spider...why care?

I think the general population is impossible to please.
It's really got nothing to do with CS history either.
Or did you guys forget that malk's "wolf" lines an the dog lines HAVE been changed before?

I'm kind of torn, I mean, some of them (like the ponies) would look better, but i kind of like the silly look of the old horses. and both of the drafts look awesome.

That was malk changing malk and in the end we still had malk
This is yulynh changing equimagine and in the end we'd no longer have equimagine
(I'm referring to linearts not artists by the way)
That's why a lot if users are upset

i'm all for the update and i know i am most likeley going to get hate for this but

i don't think the draft lines look like a draft horse ,they look more like a stock horse to me

I think it's absurd.
I don't want to lose those horses.
I don't care for equi's ponys, but I also don't like Yulynh's horses.
I think they should stay how they are since
1. some designs won't look right
2. the PPS's would look weird. -and if we kept some the same it would be even more confusing
3a. the artists would have a lot of work to accurately copy every design.
3b. this would probably mean less monthly pets.
4. CS has many retired lines, I think they add to the site.
5. We would be totally deleting Equi from the site -her profile is gone, once her horses and tag are gone what happens then??
