I do not prefer it that way. I think the equimagines are unique, and special. They are one of my favorite linearts. Even if the transformation was to happen.. The unicorns should not be changed.

Ad for the whole tracing thing.. These linearts were not traced, chickensmoothie does not tolerate any kind of art theft, so why would they do it themselves? I don't even think it is possible to trace a lineart anyways.

It's completely possible to trace an image and create a line art.

Personally, I hate the old HORSE line art, but I appreciate being able to see the difference between the two. I wouldn't mind all the HORSES being changed, but I still feel it's not really wise.

Now, I LOVE the pony line. If you guys change the pony lines I will be extremely disappointed. I know I'm only one opinion, but I always thought that the old pony line was loved more then the horse line? But anyhow, I would be very sad to see the dream pets I worked for (the old PPS ponies and very rare ponies), change drastically. I didn't WORK to get them to have them change into something I didn't want. :/ Isn't there a way we could keep the WHOLE old pony lines???

As for the unicorns, I would love to see those in the new horse line. I might actually recollect them in that case. And the draft horses I'm just meh about either way.

quick question then... will changing the linearts make people feel any better about the trace thing? I don't draw so in all honesty I don't really mind/care about it that much.

It would be replacing the traced linearts, so I assume it would.

Okay FINALLY someone says that in a polite manner -headdesk- thank you for being polite while being upfront about it harpalyce; I didn't feel comfortable saying it but I did feel uncomfortable with all of the 'omg equi is a bad person and her linearts should be burned'-type of comments

As it is I do agree; those look far too similar to be just referenced, but it is entirely possible to forget how your old sketches came about and just decide to use them so the tracing is bad but I do NOT believe that equi's intent was also bad

On phone sorry for awkwardness (it autocorrected linearts to libraries D: )

I neither read nor speak between the lines. But I will analyze your language.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you, akebai.

I never knew that although I still love the old horses but wow...

I wish they could keep a few of the old horses the same. I know they will be changed but I have to say they are cute and I loved them more compared to the new horses.

Actually, scratch my other post.
I don't like this idea if it deletes all the equimagine linearts and replaces them with the current ones.
I'd just like for the new linearts to have the old lineart's designs.
That draft is pretty, but I don't think this is a good idea.
I do NOT want the old linearts to be deleted from the archive.
I really don't like this idea and personally... I don't want Tess to do this.
And I really do NOT care about the tracing situation.
Tess said it was coincidental. And Equi isn't a bad person just because her lineart looks like a picture.

The lineart is not only better in my opinion but so is the colouring job. I would prefer all my horses looking the same. The change is a good thing, especially since the old lineart is tied in with traceing which is a form of art theft. I prefer that the lineart to be original, I hated the fact when I found out about it, so please change all the lineart to Yulyns. It will be amazing, the changes so far are for the better and I am sure the rest will be too. Excited for the new Unicorn lineart, the Draft is adorable! A good move in my opinion.

I don't get it.

Very much so. No longer using 'tainted fruit'. It will greatly increase CS's standing as well.

Just seems a bit silly when other people have been banned from this place for doing less - intentional or not - to say that this is merely a preference based in aesthetics when there are many good reasons to consider the chance that are being pointedly ignored.

This tracing accusation really is a big issue. Chicken Smoothie does not tolerate art theft, so it rubs me a little wrong that something non-original is allowed to be such a big part of the site. I would like to hear from Equimagine herself, or at least have the issue put to rest, but I doubt that will happen.

If art theft is your main concern, also consider the issue with not only the Age of Fire dragons, but the warrior cats, as well as the Balto OC's that were released as well. Those are not currently being redrawn for "conformity".

Personally, I would much rather put my time into keeping up with the pet demand than sweating to convert all of the horses.

Ah, but they've stopped making the warrior cats, and all of those lines are legitimately by the artist who drew them.

Thank you.

If this is what equimagine is getting accused of tracing then I don't get it. If I see a flower, and I draw the flower so that it looks close to the flower, that means i copied artwork?...can someone explain? I don't feel comfortable voting until I know more about the tracing thing.
