I wanted to ask how much wiggle room we have with opacity changing brushes when coloring in pet applications. I know that the question of gradients came up, and not to push the effect too far to avoid producing new colors over larger areas, but does the same thing apply with brushes that have pressure sensitivity or are those brushes under stricter guidelines?

Question! Can guest artists STAY as guest artists? As a guest artist, how often would they need to design a pet?

If you are applying for multiple positions, it is okay to copy and paste your answers for each application. Your “reason for applying” may need to be a bit different between applications in order to suit the specific role you’re applying for, i.e. your reason for wanting to be a pet artist would be different than your reason for being a global moderator.

Please correct me if I’m misunderstanding. Pressure sensitivity should be fine. This means the color itself shouldn’t change, just the size of the brush when pressure is applied would change.

For opacity changing brushes, I wouldn’t recommend using those since it would result in different color values than those available in the palettes being used. You can check out previous staff litters to see how blending was accomplished between colors.

Not yet. An admin will give a warning when applications are nearing closure ^^

Yes, you won't be forced to be an official artist if you don't want to be one! A guest artist only has to really make something once, but most of our guest artists make a few litters here and there throughout the year. An official artist is expected to create content every month. If selected, everyone starts off as guest artists so its up to you on how much you'd like to create!

quick question, when coloring pets in do we HAVE to use every single color from the palette on each pet? or can we ignore a certain color from the palette on a certain pet
