Ngl its a lil concerning hearing the rule change for rp for people to have to "use adult aged animals" for them to be allowed to say that their animals are "mated"
Like were people using underage characters and animals at that????? Or animals at all??? Despite age that shouldnt be something people should engage with
I think personally it should be void all together, not allowed on this site as this has young users that could be influenced to thinking that's normal despite it not including the "act" unintentionally

Here’s my input on this:

-my interpretation of this rule is that role players are allowed to declare their characters pregnant and who the father is. for example, in a warrior cats roleplay, it could be arranged the queen (mother) tells the kit’s father that she is pregnant, and it spreads around the clan that way. Basically the rule’s saying (in my eyes) “you can announce pregnancy and who the father is”

-it also does concern me with the appropriate age for the species thing.. but unfortunately some rules must be added. I’m honestly glad that it is here now, as it prevents roleplays like those from happening

I don’t think these roleplays should be outright banned.. maybe “mated” is just the wrong word for this?? Idk


UPDATE: I reread the rules from that section and it makes sense. As a kid I did plenty of roleplays where a character was pregnant and had children. I don’t think the entire concept of it should be banned, just moderated, like it is right now. I really enjoy the “warrior cats approach” when it comes to scenes like this. Just go up to the father and go “hey, im having kids!!” And boom big party or whatever!! Just make sure the person playing the father/other parent is okay with their character being involved in that way.

Users should not be writing out any descriptions or details, but it's perfectly fine for characters in animal roleplays to have offspring. Like another user suggested, the Warriors series is a good example of how much would be appropriate to share - you can state that a queen is expecting kits, or that a wolf gave birth to 3 pups, but you shouldn't be sharing details beyond that.

Kinda like how they do 2nd/3rd gen pairs in the adopt???

Bc it isnt that necessary to word it more properly??? This is just imo but kids are very impressionable so why shouldnt there be criticism towards the usage?? Afterall they asked for our input and this is mine
