It was an unintentional bug, so it wouldn't have been possible to post about before the update went live.

sorry for the confusion! I meant like having a post like;
"hey! We're planning on doing an update with the pound, and we're doing a test run later. :)"

Something like that before a new feature that does a public test run, to alert the userbase that could bring potential bugs. <3 There's no way unintentional bugs can be predicted like you said ^^

love this update!! this seems like a really good idea for the experience overall… i feel like the pound was lacking the “randomness” feel especially as of late, almost getting guaranteed uncommon or below if you were on anything except for a good pc and ready to click within the first three seconds. i feel like it would’ve been crazier if it was announced beforehand, so i’m definitely glad it wasn’t. it was really cool to see it live!!

o.o This explains why the entire page I saw the second it opened was taken! srry if i missed it but if an entire page is taken will the page auto refresh or do u still have to wait the 20 secondish to see any available pets? could be a disadvantage to actually be there the first second it opens now :0 (can't tell if its a bad thing not) /not mad, just curious but ambivalent

(edit: i reread and maybe that was part of the bug? idk i cant remember was was in the last pound, srry if this was a useless post LUL)

This is exciting news and a much-needed update! The new format for the Pound release looks very promising and more fair/balanced for everyone. I look forward to giving it a try. Thank you for addressing the issue!
