The colors on your examples should look like the colors from the palette. So blending in small parts is fine, but if you blend too large of an area, it will start to loose the feel of the palette. The same goes for layer modes. The goal is to have the example look like it came from the palette, so if the blending modes make large sections of the color unrecognizable, it's probably not a good fit for the criteria of this application.

I'd recommend referencing past staff litters to see the kinds of techniques used to blend colors without loosing loyalty to the palette.

Applications are usually open for a few weeks so don't worry if you can't apply today or even this week. There will be a post made by admins closer to when apps are closing to give everyone time to finish up. ^^

oh yeay this again. not sure how to be up to snuff. and what program would be best.. or if being the artist is also a "can I just design some pets and you stockpile them for further use?"
