Update for mobile!

The mobile log in page has been adjusted to solve a few layout problems. The CAPTCHA should no longer be partially cut off by the page. This means mobile users don't need to worry about a chance of unsolvable puzzles anymore!

Update for mobile!

Trade notifications will now be visible in the page head on CS mobile, similarly to how it is displayed on the desktop version. This means that when new trades arrive, mobile users should now be able to see the (1 new) indicator in their trade center. This was added based on a user suggestion.

Update for dressing up your pets!

The interface for pet dress ups have been updated to more closely match that of dress up scenes, bringing some new helpful features. Some changes include:

• Ability to flip items horizontally
• Ability to search items in the dress up menu
• UI clearly communicates the space available to dress up a given pet, and what will be cut off
• Additional pan, box select, and zoom tools
• Outline around an item you are hovering over, so it is easier to tell what you will select
• "Arrange mode" is always on
• Large items have a smaller preview in your collection now, to make your items easier to navigate
• Dress up menu is full screen on mobile
• Scroll bar on "species" tab on mobile for easier use

Wishlist update!

You can now filter your wishlist to show only pets/items that you already own, for easier removal. There is also a button that can remove all the pets/items you own from your wishlist at once.

Apologies as this is a few days old, but there is also another update to the block feature.

If you have blocked an artist, their oekaki art will be hidden from rotation in certain sections of the site for you. Specifically, it will not appear in the featured cycle for the homepage, and it will not appear in the recent oekaki feeds for you.

Item UI update!



The item search by name feature, first debuted in the dress up update a few months ago, is now available in the item menu and during trading. You can now type an item's name into the search bar to find it more easily.

You can now use quotation marks in the search function in order to search full phrases on the forum. Also includes some other minor search-related issues.

Archive update!

There is now an option in the archive to display if you have collected all the pets from a given month/year. This also works on species/artist filters. Check marks mean all the pets have been collected. Red X means that you haven't collected any of the pets in the category. Blue square means that you have some but it is not complete.

New board setting!

New accessibility setting which makes forum posts easier to read for some people by disabling certain BBCode tags. Particularly by locking text into a larger size, and disabling colored text.

Board preferences > Edit display settings > High-contrast text for posts

Signature Scenes + Links

Added mini dress up scenes, which function like their previously released counterparts. However, these smaller scenes can be set as a user's forum signature. Buttons can be added which link certain profile buttons in your scene, such as a link to your pets, trades, oekaki, etc. This feature is accessible to COPPAs.

The item archive can now be sorted by item category, making tracking down the date of specific items easier!

As this topic hasn't been updated recently, here's a few more recent updates along with older ones for anyone who has missed them!

Recent Updates

23 November 2025 - Some staff changes were announced along with some planned QOL updates for the site. These include:

• When browsing pets in the archive, add the ability to find that pet in your own pet groups, or see how many of that outcome you own (Fully grown pets only)
• When viewing your (fully grown) pet’s page, have a link to view that pet in the archive to help with identifying its release date and event
• Remove URs from counting toward a user’s complete collection (or offer different levels of completion)
• Remove store items from counting toward a user’s complete collection

Tess has returned in a limited capacity to assist Nick with some projects, including a roadmap of planned updates with timeframes which will be shared soon.

November 2025 Mid-month update - The COPPA group has been removed from public view. Staff will now explicitly state when an event game (ex. summer event) is RNG-based.

October 2025 - The spam guide was updated for clarification with a new oekaki section. A new rule was introduced where users are limited to one entry post every 24 hours for competitions.

July 2025 - Nick shared an update regarding scraping bots where a "bot check" was added to all CS pages.

June 2025 Mid-month update - Official Oekaki Challenges have been brought back! Feel free to go participate here!

March 2025 - The ability to disable messages from your pound pets was added!

January 2025 Mid-month update - A new category to sort your items called "Limited Store Items" was added. A filter to view items to look at just store items, regular items or both was also added. Finally, a C$ symbol will now be displayed next to store items in your item collection.

14 December 2024 - A new board called CS Trading Guides & Help was created to separate CS trading guides/help threads from normal CS discussion.
Additionally, Sitting Cats, Nick Deer, Nick Rats, and Tess Guinea Pigs have been added as separate species in the archive so users can better sort their pets. The moon buns have been removed to be sorted under "Other" instead of "Bunny". Bat plushies have been given their own item category, and they have been re-named for consistency. The images for all UR pets have been updated to include a UR tag so they are easily identifiable!

16 November 2024 - Art, oekaki and rolelpay rules were updated. AI generated art is not allowed on CS, the oekaki cover rules were clarified and animal roleplay rules updated. A ban on voice communication was introduced later (27 November 2024). Another update on 6 Feburary 2025 was done to clarify anthro character nudity rules.

10 June 2024 - A rule update was done to clarify rules regarding CS-linked discord servers.

15 March 2024 - New pound update where pets are released gradually over a minute instead of all at once.
