It looks like a PSD file is the only option on the page for pet artist entries. What if someone doesn't have Photoshop but wants to enter as a pet artist? Could there be an option to download a GIMP or FireAlpaca file (or even each layer separately to use in any program)?
I myself have access to Photoshop at college, just asking for those who don't <3
Good luck everyone!

GIMP and FireAlpaca both open .PSD files with no problem! I personally use FireAlpaca for all the CS art I create.

So I know you are meant to use only the colors in the pallets, except for the shadow layers where you can make it darker, and they eyes/lineart which can be any color. Is it alright to add any highlight of a lighter color, or darken some of the shadows?

For the additional art examples is it okay to color the llamas with another pallet and use it as example art? I'm low-key inspired by two color pallets and I'm having a hard time picking just one to use.
Thanks in advance

Edit:
This may seem stupid but is it okay to blend the colors even tho they would create a color not from the pallet?

you can color the eyes , shading , and lineart with your second palette choice i believe. however, everything else should stick with your main palette, since that’s what they’re asking for.
it’s okay to blend two colors from the palette, as long as it’s from the one palette you chose it’ll be good!!

Oh wow, I didn't know that! Thanks for the tip! (Now I know I don't have to be on campus to work on it xD)
