A pound specifically for items has been in the works for a long time.

Holy crud, I just saw this as I checked the pound page. Got rather confused to see "3 hours" there, haha.

This is going to be a huge change to get used to.
Personally I am unsure if I think 3 hours is really a good choice - I'd probably have picked 12 hours, so half of the old time - but I'll assume that you're gonna have an eye on how it's going to work out and adjust times if needed.

In any case, it's exciting to hear that we'll be able to adopt more often now! Finally my habit of compulsively checking the Pound page will pay off
