Many people collect different specific animals on this site, and that's why I love it so much. There are so many kind, welcoming, friendly people on this site that make crazy cool collections happen, and to me it's always so interesting to see the reason or story behind certain collections, if there is one! My main collection (being my PPS collection) is what I strive to complete, all for one special lil boy. His name was Buddy.
I stared playing CS back in early 2016, back when the account I played on was actually a shared account between me and an old friend of mine. I was infatuated with all of the cool pet designs, the creativity of the people in the forums, and the kindness of basically everyone here. As I looked at all the cool pets on here, I saw the PPS pets, specifically some PPS pups a player had. I instantly fell in love with them, as they reminded me of how our dog Buddy looked in size. Buddy didn't have any syndrome that made him this stubby and short, rather he was actually a mix breed between a pitbull and a bassett hound. Me and the rest of my family loved Buddy so much. He was with us for many years, and was always willing to cuddle up with you on the couch.

However, early in to 2018, you can imagine the shock we all had when we found out that his body was slowly deteriorating. There were multiple holes throughout his stomach, meaning he couldn't keep in any food or liquids, meaning we had to act rapidly. We had been in this situation before when he was much, much younger, the first few months we had rescued him, in fact. At that time there was great hope that the surgeries he needed would succeed, which they did. However this time it was different. Putting him through such a strenuous surgery again would stress him out too greatly, and would possibly ruin the last few months we could theoretically have with him. So, in our home we decided to have him peacefully put down.
After this, I clinged to CS pretty hard. It was like a safe haven for me, and I truly cannot thank all of the amazing people I have met on here enough for what you have done for me! After I had felt a little better, I saw many other peoples' collections for their late pets, too, so I vowed to myself and Buddy that no matter what, even if I stop playing CS for a little, I'd always come back to try and keep chipping away at my goal to collect every PPS pet. Every time I look at my collection, I am reminded of him. They help me keep his memory fresh in my mind when it's hard for me to remember much of my past at all. Which admittedly may be silly, but hey! Isn't being a little silly and having fun why we're all here :P?
