Welcome to my trading post.

As is courtesy when trading with anyone; please read the guidelines in my trading center before sending a trade. Only the bold is important, the rest are details that will help minimising the chance of me cancelling a trade. *smile*

I have a lot of text I know, I try to be detailed so you have a bigger chance of not having your trade cancelled - but you're free to try your luck without reading. (;

I have C$ as well as a lots of pets for trade to offer. (:

Any group not labelled "For Trade" is supposed to be closed, if you see another group open I'd deeply appreciate it if you told me.


Some warnings about my trading style:

• One thing that people keep ignoring but that is really important:
I will assume that ALL your open groups are available for trading if I edit!
I can't stress this enough! I do not enjoy searching through pets that are not actually for trade when I try to trade with someone. If you trade with me I expect you to be decent enough to lock away any pets you're not willing to trade. The lock function are there for a reason, please use it!
Trading is hard enough without making your partner jumping through extra hoops for no reason.
- and yes, this include "show cases" or what people decide to call them. Sorry, but if you want to "show off" special pets I suggest you use your signature, it's way more efficient anyway. (;

• Be aware that I sometimes write humongous messages when trading. This is because I try to make my thinking as clear as possible so it's easier for you to decide from the very beginning if it's worth even trying to trade with me or not. ;D

• We all value things differently on the site and some players are simply not compatible trading partners. I respect that and expect a civil "we can agree to disagree" state of mind if the trade ultimately ends up cancelled.

• I always try to be respectful and polite but sometimes I fail at expressing myself - especially since I'm not a native English speaker [writer]. Please try to not take offence if I say something wrong, and I really would appreciate it if you took the time to correct me.

Reverse C$ shop!

So… A lot of players need C$, and I'm generally happy to help out with that if I can. I don't mind using C$ to buy your unwanted pets - I'll just use them as trading fodder if I don't need them. *lopsided smile*
Obviously I'm always grateful if I can get my paws on stuff actually from my wishlist, but anything is acceptable. (;

If I have the funds I'll be glad to buy any pets and/or items from you.
Keep in mind that my budget is limited. Chicken Smoothie goes under "entertainment" in my budget but in truth I am a rather poor person. If I'm not able to buy your stuff at the moment I will notify you and we'll go from there. *warm smile*


There are a few way to go about this:

1. You send me a suggestion (use a pet you want me to buy, or fill in C$ on my side) and ask me to go for some random shopping among your pets.
If there is a specific group you'd like me to focus on; point me that way. If you're looking for a specific amount of C$; tell me and I'll see what I can do.
If you already have a C$-shop with decent prices I will use those.
If I have to make up the prices myself (including if I find your prices too expensive) I take inspiration from The "How Much is This Worth in C$?" Thread, adapting depending on the pet/s, and I will make you an offer when sending the trade back. If you find that agreeable you'll simply accept the trade and it's all done! ;D

2. You send me a trade with the pets you want to sell and what you want for them in C$ on my side. If I don't agree with the price I will adjust the amount of C$ and send it back. You decide if you find that acceptable and accept or cancel accordingly.

3. You send me a suggestion with the pets you want to sell and I'll make an offer in C$. I take inspiration from The "How Much is This Worth in C$?" Thread, adapting depending on the pet/s. If you find that agreeable you'll simply accept the trade and it's all done! ;D

If there is another way I haven't thought of it yet. ;P

Pricing:
As mentioned, I use The "How Much is This Worth in C$?" Thread for inspiration.
Since there are quite different opinions on the value of Uncommons and below this is roughly how I value them;

A 2009 Uncommon I value around 10–15 C$
A 2010 Uncommon I value around 10-12 C$
A 2011 Uncommon I value around 9–10 C$
A 2012 Uncommon I value around 8–9 C$
A 2013 Uncommon I value around 6–7 C$
A 2014 Uncommon I value around 5–6 C$
A 2015 Uncommon I value around 4–5 C$
A 2016 Uncommon I value around 3–4 C$
A 2017 Uncommon I value around 1-2 C$
A 2018 Uncommon I value around 1–1.5 C$
A 2019 Uncommon I value around 0.5–1 C$
A 2020 Uncommon I value around 0.5-0.75 C$
A 2021 Uncommon I value around 0.25-0.5 C$
A 2022 Uncommon I value around 0.25 C$

Price range depend on demand (like species).
I generally cut prices in half when it comes to Commons, and in half again for Very Commons.

I tend to go on the higher end or sometimes slightly more for wishlist pets. *smile*

Trades involving things not on my Wishlist

I am generally open for non-wishlist trading. I have a couple of trade-groups that is open for wishlist only, but the other groups are free game. (;

Worth to keep in mind though; when it's not on my wishlist I almost only do trade-ups in some variety.

There are several ways to do that;

1. One of your pets for multiple of mine.
A more valuable pet on your side, then multiple pets on mine that will add up to the worth of your pet.

2. A species of higher demand for a species of lower demand.
They can be from the same month and the same rarity if the species rate differently enough on the demand-scale (or however you want to put it haha).

3. An older pet for a younger one.
The pets can be of the same species and rarity but yours is older than the one you want from me.

4. A pet of higher rarity than the one from me.
You trade me a Rare for an Uncommon for example. Just keep in mind that species and release date also play a part in this.

Or some variation of the examples above. Pretty much any kind of trade that will be a small "win" for me when I'm getting pets that isn't on my wishlist.

Please try to make it clear how your thinking goes when you planned the trade if it's not a very obvious trade-up; that way we can figure out as quickly as possible if we value pets remotely the same or if we should give it up because we're simply not compatible trading partners. (;

(an obvious trade-up would be something along the lines of; you trading me a Common 2016 dog for a Common 2016 rat, your Uncommon 2013 dog for my Uncommon 2015 dog, your Rare 2017 deer for my Uncommon 2016 cat, or so on…)

I have some pets I'm willing to trade down. I would like some trading fodder that is more recent.
Just as some sort of reference I'm linking Horror's guide.

What I'm looking for:
Pets from 2017-2022. I'd like at least one Rare and about 20 Uncommons for each pet I'm trading down, I might accept a Common or two in that mix if they're popular species like dogs or lions - or if those Commons are added as "extra" boosters on top of the other pets. These pets do not have to be from my wishlist! (although wishlist pets are very welcome ;))
Obviously you're welcome to send a more "fair" offer for these pets as well. (:
