Breaking my oekaki silence for an important message.
I haven't been drawing due to loosing a LOT of creativity and free time; I mostly play CS on mobile. I stopped doing commissions due to loosing more and more free time as IRL responsibilities rack up. I'm horrible at communication, and sometimes even talking/texting drains my social battery dry. Working full time genuinely takes your creativity and self confidence in your art. I kept overcorrecting myself in everything in this, but I needed to push aside my perfectism to post this message.
Please, this year during pride month; check in your trans siblings. Let them know they're loved. We're loosing rights in a certain 'world of power' country and at risk to attacks by others in real life. I've had to stop wearing anything rainbow/supportive of trans folk/anything that identifies me being trans for fear of my safety.
As always, you're loved and valid. Lets put aside any discourse this year; and recognize rights being at risk/or in process of being erased.
Ending this description with a quote a good friend told me about being in the LGBTQA+ community;
We're all queer; why sow more seeds of division between our siblings?
