It was a cold night, but at least it wasn't raining. The night was dark, the moon high in the sky, hundreds of stars shining bright.
The soft sound of footpaws sounded, a soft tap supported by a soft tick of nails touching the floor.
A witch is walking through the streets, holding a small basket in the shape of a pumpkin. Inside the basket is a soft crackling sound. The sound of candy wrappers.
It's Hallowee, the time of year when everyone goes outside to ring doors.
She spots a house with a faint light inside. Would there be someone home, or was it a trick? She had her toilet paper hidden under her dress.
She walks to the door, knicking on it.
"Trick or treat?" she said, hoping to get an answer.

Every year Junelyn is struggling with her costume. She tried cowgirl, but she didn't look good in it. She tried a fairy, but her friends just laughed at her. She tried an astronaut, but her costume fell apart when she tried it on.
She was devestated.
And to make things worse; the stores were closed.
She quickly grabbed a red dress, a needle and got to work. With the little materials she had she managed to turn her dress into a vampire costume.
She grabbed her bag and went outside.
"Trick or treat!" she said as the firt door opened.
A handfull of candy was dropped in her bag.
"Thank you!" she said, then continued her way.
But... her bag felt lighter? She looked down and saw a small cut, but it was big enough to lose her beloved candy. With all stores closed she didn't have many options. She quickly put a bandage over the cut, which actually didn't look that bad!
With a big smile on her face she walked over to the next house, in which the lights were on.
Knock knock.
She raised her bag a little.
"Trick or treat!" she said, her voice loud enough to be heard, yet sounding like she was singing.

"HOW DARE YOU-" Suddenly the low voice changes in a girl-like laughter.
"Sorry, I can't do this! You should have seen your face! Ah, alright, you weren't scared at all!"
Jocelyn opens the door, a big smile on her face.
"Oh, what a lovely costume, my dear!"
She raises her bag, grabbing a handfull of gifts, lowering it in your bag.
"Here you go, my friend.Have some treats! Happy Halloween!"
