Hello, welcome to chicken smoothie! I'd recommend setting up a wish list, that will help people that want to trade with you or even gift you, so they know what you're interested in. You can set it up by going to archives then "my pet wishlist" you can also make one for items in the same place! I would also suggest the fair trade thread so that if you get a trade or send one you can get other people's opinions on whether it's fair or not while you're still working out the ropes. There's a lot of other things you can do on CS as well! I'd recommend checking out the oekaki forums for art and color ins, and forum games where you can play simple games if you've got time to kill.
