Welcome to my stables of The Isles of Equi, an adoptable thread made by Dragoness - Link

As you walk deeper into the forest of one of the Equi Islands, you spot a little light ahead of you. The quiet murmur of a brook and the chirping of sleepy birds are the only sounds filling the silent night. The forest - lit up by the rays of the full moon - seems dark, sinister... And yet so calm - almost magical. You push aside some ferns covered with dew, which falls in droplets onto your hair, and blink as you step into a clearing.
If the forest was magical, then this must be heaven. At night, that is. The brook you had heard runs from one side of the clearing to halfway, then bends ninety degrees east and disappears back into the forest. At the edge of the clearing stands an old, beech wooden stable, decorated with forest plants, wild ivy and all kinds of horse accessories. There is something odd; the stable door is left open.
Suddenly you hear neighing. You turn around and come face-to-face with a ghost-like white horse. Its bright red eyes gaze at you, curiosity as well as wariness flickering in them. The mare's short blonde manes wave slightly in the night's cool breeze and you notice the strange red-and-green markings on her thighs, legs, shoulders and cheekbones. Swallowing nervously, you shrink away slowly, until you spot a girl sitting on the back of the horse - her horse, probably.
The tan girl's quiet laughter fills the air and she slides off the mare. Her dark blonde hair with golden highligts shines in the moon- and starlight, making her look just as unnatural as her companion. Her eyes - a grayish-blue shade - blink kindly at you as she takes a few seconds to eye you before she smiles and reaches out, shaking your hand.
"Hi, I'm Alexa," she introduces herself, still smiling, "and this is Corazón. Welcome to the Lunar stables, where horses run free at night!"

Mares

Alexa takes your hand and pulls you towards the small stable. "Come on, I will show you the mares' place!" she offers keenly. Corazón follows you with a guarded look in her spooky red eyes as you and Alexa walk - Alexa skipping - towards the stable. As you arrive, Alexa waves her free hand at the open stable door. "That's Corazón's stable, she is currently my only horse." Curious, you take a closer peek at the paper stuck onto the half-height door.

Name: Corazón
Gender: Mare
Personality: Corazón is often biased by others, usually as a total sweetheart or a dangerous, wild mare. In fact, she is neither or them. More of a mix, you could say. She is neither sweet nor dangerous; she is both kind and guarded, though she often has the tendency to be very aloof towards strangers. To friends and family, she is overly protective and extremely gentle. Even though she doesn't like to admit it, she dearly wishes for nothing else but a life-time mate and foals.
Friends: Currently Alexa, stable owner, is her only friend - which will probably stay this way due to her antisocial nature, even if more horses would join her at Lunar Stables.

Stallions

You almost trip over a clump of grass as Alexa pulls you to the next part of the stables. They are seperated from the mares' stables by just a narrow repository and look basically the same, except for the fact that, just like with the mares, every stable is decorated with random gadgets, each creathing a theme of its own.
"As I'm planning on getting more horses," Alexa says, "I have already built the necessary stables. This will be the place for the stallions."

Foals

"Here will be the foals," Alexa says as she leads you towards the side of the little garden loft-like stables. Before you are now four bigger 'rooms', very warm and innermost with room for a mare and at least three foals to lie down. "I thought I'd make these cosier." Alexa smiles and, waving goodbye, she walks towards Corazón, who is watching you from a distance.

Breeding

You quickly follow her, and, as she rises onto Corazón without a saddle, she makes a facepalm. "Oh", she says, shaking her head, "I forgot. Here." She hands over a slightly creased bundle of paper and smiles again. "If you would be interested in breeding, read these." With that she rides away, and you look at the first page of the bundle.

Breeding rules:
1. Post here or send me a PM if you want to breed;
2. If we do not use Luna's Gift, the foal will go to the dam's owner (may make exceptions on this one);
3. You will have to pay a breeding fee (details listed below) unless we use Luna's gift or unless the foal goes to me;
4. Whenever breeding a Mythic, we will use Luna's Gift;
5. If using Luna's Gift, we will each pay half the price so we do not mess up in turns paying it;

Breeding fees:
Normal horses: Females, 150 Q - Males, 50 Q
Special horses (summer, air, ext.): Females, 400 Q - Males, 150 Q
Mythics (oh well, you never know...): Females, 900 Q - Males, 600 Q
NOTE: I am new to this business, so if these are totally unrealistic prices, tell me and I will probably change it.
