Trading Advice Thread
It can be tough to know whether or not you're trading your pet to get the best outcome based on their value/worth. Luckily, this is a place where you can ask fellow players for their opinions on your trades. Or, for the experienced players out there, you can lend a hand to help others understand what they've been offered. We encourage users to discuss the advice given, whether they agree or not.
COPPA members are encouraged to send a help ticket for advice on trades.
Regular members should only ask here.

- Rules for posting:
- Do not post "mark" or other empty posts
- Remember, everything is an opinion
- It is okay if you disagree with the advice/opinion given by another user but please make sure to be respectful and polite
- Do not reveal the names of users you are trading with, keep this private to protect everyone's privacy and prevent harassment
- Post only once per page
- Multiple questions can go into a single post
- You may repost your question onto a new page
- Use the [share trade] featureGo to the trade page and click on the trade you want to view.
Scroll down to the very bottom of the trade.
Directly above the 'Accept', 'Edit', and 'Cancel' buttons is the share trade link.
Copy that link and paste it into the message or post where you want to share the trade. - Do not offer rewards in exchange for advice
- This encourages false advice
- Do not do something to make your post more visible
- No attention-seeking text sizes or colors
- No decorative images or gifs
- Give educated advice
- If you do not know the answer, do NOT reply
- Advice MUST come with an explanation
- Saying only 'fair' or 'unfair' is not allowed
- Do not post if you cannot fully support your reasoning
- Do not advise or comment on trades you are participating in
- Do NOT contact a user directly criticizing their advice
- If you disagree with someone's advice you may explain your opinion on the thread as long as it is done respectfully
- Ask for multiple opinions!
- It's ok to continue asking for advice after you've received an answer
- It's ok to give a user advice even if they've already gotten a response
- It is ok to disagree with someone's advice and use this thread to discuss it, provided everyone stays civil, polite and respectful
- Report posts which are spamming the thread
- Even if you aren't sure, it never hurts to report; staff don't mind taking a look to make sure the thread is a good resource for everyone
- Say "thank you" to those who help you!
- Research before trading or giving advice
- CS staff cannot reverse trades which you were happy with at the time
