i'm not sure if any of you guys know this yet but this guide was listed on the front page of the new ftt. ayyyy, that's a big step in the right direction.

Woooh that is awesome! Glad to know it's getting people's attention on a wider scale than just the people posting here. Hopefully more helpers on the FTT will start referencing it now.

Okay! I think I've pretty much got the VR histories done in preparation for making the list in January/whenever we get a rarity update after the 18th. There's just a small handful of pets that I can't narrow down exact info on; so if anyone has any insight please let me know! Links/screenshots included would be super duper helpful c:

The first pets are some of the 09 Easter bunnies, I haven't found concrete data for which month they turned VR.

- Chocolate Bunny
- Grey Dutch Bunny
- Dogtag Bunny
I do know from the wayback machine that the chocolate bunny was VR by March 2010, and the grey and dogtag by July 2010. Rarity Change Archive has them down for Jan '10, May '10, and March '10 respectively but after scanning through threads multiple times I still can't find any posts for them.

Secondly, the Blood PPS from Halloween 2009. Does anyone remember if that one was VR on release? I'm pretty sure it was, and I can't find any rarity changes to dispute that, but I don't trust my memory that much lol.

And finally; this rat from September 2008, named the "Natural Black Rat". At this point I'm not convinced anyone knew of it's existence until it was very rare because I cannot find anything on it. I finally managed to possibly narrow down the window of it's R to VR change to between Dec 2010 and Jul 2011, but they're not very reliable links.

All the rest of the blanks I need to fill in are rarity changes after 2012, so they can wait until after the list is up if we decide we want to add more pets to it.

I found two posts in the "is this a fair trade" thread mentioning that the chocolate/brown hunt bunny was very rare, at least by late january 2010:

Not sure if this can be counted as concrete though.

Also just realized I've never thanked you for making these posts! It's very cool to see the various rarity fluctuations summarized in a single page.

I had the first one linked on the front page but that second link is definitely a bit better, thank you! Sometimes in posts soon after rarity tags were introduced, it's hard to tell if people are talking about actual rarities or just how "rare" they were referred to before ^^"

i did some digging in the forums for the blood pps after giving up with the wayback machine and i can pretty conclusively say it was VR in december '09/jan 2010 at least, so unless there was a massive boom in site members around christmas '09 i reckon you can safely trust your memory there. c;

That last link from December pretty much confirms it for me. Considering they likely wouldn't have gotten their rarities until November/December, I bet there would be some mention somewhere if it had upgraded to VR that quickly.
