What are, “MA”s? I always read it as Malk adopts but I keep seeing a pets worth being referred to as a *number* then MAs?
(Sorry if this is not a good place to ask I’m going crazy trying to figure it out and this thread has been so useful in my attempt to learn pet values!

MA means "Mid Advent" - it's a reference to an old rarity list from years ago but has still been kept around as a value term like "Non" and "Sorb". It refers to pets that were in the middle of the Advent List (given that name because the majority of pets in that list were 2008 advent pets) which now more commonly refers to Horror's version, the condensed rarity list. The common value of an MA is 7-9 '09 rares so when you see pets being referred to as "worth 2 MAs" it's a way of simplifying values, like this:
Non = 2 Sorbs
Sorb = 5-7 MAs
MA = 7-9 '09 rares

Looks like we finally had some rarity changes for store pets! The Green Liontail and Brown Sleipnir turned OMGSR, which matches predictions as they were the top two pets on the VR Store Pet List. We've also seen some changes in more recent store pets, I'll be updating the list today so stay tuned!

I am working on some updates for the thread to include more information about rarity, to make the Guide a bit more accessible for newer/less experienced players. I'm hoping for the re-revamp to be published late this month or early March.

Both the text and picture versions of the Store Pet Rarity List have been updated with this month's rarity changes. Also I am pretty much making up the names for store pets these days, so please let me know if any need correcting! ^^

Hey all, the update I mentioned back in February and said I would have finished by March is partially up on the front page! The rarity lists have been moved down a bit to make room for a "rarity explained" post which I am hoping will make this guide more accessible to newer and inexperienced players. There is still more to be added to it (influence of demand, why store pets are different, common trading terms(?), etc.) but I'm not sure when I will have the time to complete it so I wanted to at least publish what I have so far ^^
