What do you guys think of the new updated values for stores?

i'm very interested in reasoning behind the new store values. i'm mostly confused on the new 2015-2017 values in particular. i have seen a few of these pets (pets that were previously 0.5 ma, but are now 0.75 ma or more on the list) and the value increase doesn't really make sense to me. i have seen people attempting to charge more than their previously listed value in c$, but they weren't always selling and i haven't seen them traded at that amount unless it was a knowingly overpay trade.

i'm interested in the 2017 stores that were previously 0.4 ma now being listed as 0.5 ma. i was aware that they were getting up to 0.5 ma in c$ value, but i haven't seen them traded at that price in pet trades. i've listed the fluffy pps at 0.5 ma worth in c$ (150 c$) a while ago, and it took a significantly long time for them to sell (i go through a lot of lower list pets in my c$ stores) along with that, different (previous) 0.5 ma stores from the 2015-2016 section i've had no trouble trading down for them valued at 0.5 ma at a fair price, and i've never been able to sell them for more than a 0.5 ma value (assuming 0.5 ma is valued at 150-200 c$). i sell the adult manticores at 200 c$, but i have them sit at that price for a while. when i list them at 175 c$, it can still take a few days for them to sell. the unicorns (both kinds), flying dogs, and ferrets i've struggled to sell for 200 c$ as well. when i've listed the flying dogs at 215 c$, they sell slowly, but they don't always sell. i lower them to 200 c$ and it still takes time. the 2016 adult tigers i've never been able to sell them for more than 150 c$- i've had them listed at 175 c$ for weeks at a time and no one shows interest. seeing them valued at the same value as other stores was slightly confusing, but seeing them valued even higher doesn't make sense to me from what i've seen.

i'm also slightly confused about a few of the 2014 stores. the dragoncats i've traded pets for solidly at 0.5 ma, and while i can sell them for 225 c$ occasionally, i usually struggle to sell them over 200 c$, or even at that price. i personally sell the realistic breed dogs at 300 or 325 c$ (if i'm feeling picky on the higher end, lol) but nothing above that. i have been able to trade for the dragon cats at 0.5 ma easily, and i don't usually see them listed more than 0.5 ma.

i might have more opinions on some of the other stores that were recently changed, but these are the most concerning for me. i just don't quite understand the jump in value- robocats had been going for more than 0.75-1 ma for a significant amount of time before being changed, and their value is still a range if these previous 0.5 ma stores are now going for 0.75 ma, i can come around to it, but the jump in value doesn't seem right, especially since largely i see experienced traders listing them solidly at their previous value in trading/sale groups.

sorry if this is overexplain-y or coming off rude, no harm meant. just curious with these changes and wanting to explain how i see it. thank you for your hard work! i feel like trade data will help with some points i've brought up, so i'll include recent ones here. i can track down more if desired!

1400 c$ for stores total(goldfish dog, cheetah, flying dogs, cloud dog @ 200 c$ each) (2009 dog was 100 c$, zodiac was 200, and elemental was 300.)
200 c$ per flying dog (2013 stores were 350 each, deer at 300, flying dogs at 200.)
fluffy pps at 150 c$
flying dog at 200 c$
manticore lion @ 200 c$
calgreyhound, unicorns, manticore lions, flying dog, cloudy dog @ 150 c$ each though this and the next ones are older, i feel like they're still recent enough to mention
cloud dogs for 150 c$ each + second set

pet trades:
2 flying dogs for 1 ma tiger pps
scaly pps @ 0.5 ma, manticore lions @ 0.5 ma
flying dogs/cheetah/tiger pps @ 0.5 ma (their side is 9.5 ma because i usually take less than full value of pets when i trade down)
adult unicorns/scaly pps at 0.5 ma each

@puffy nah ik you're not rude I get what you mean. I reverted the changes on those for the time being ^^ I'm grateful to any posts to help make this thread better and I always love seeing trade data! I'm holding off on removing the "being updated" part from the threads title until things are actually accurate




Since I'm already posting I encourage anyone whos traded any pets on the "Notable Rare/Under" post within the past year to share their experiences on the "Pets with Confusing Worth" thread!

More "True Date" data in general for higher value pets would also help on the Successful VR/OMGSR thread! Even if you don't care about the dates it helps to post it and say that
