bunnies: personally i'd trade 3-4 uncommons (or two extremely uncommon) for a rare of the same year.
the betta would trade for two rares of the same year.

I got this white sitting cat from the pound and wondered what it's worth. It's rating is very rare and the date is June 2009 but the archive has it in July 2008 so is it a re-release and does that impact the value? I only started here on CS a couple weeks ago so I'm still trying to learn all of this and appreciate the help!

Some pets from 08 were released through 09, so it's technically not a rerelease and is a true-date. That said, true-dates and rereleased pets are worth the same, though some people value the true-date pets higher ^^ That cat in particular is known as a "Warrior" cat and tends to trade for 1 MA.
