My pet peeve is when someone has a pet I want in a group labeled trade and I have a pet they want of same value or even overpay and they cancel without a message. This particular example had it in their rules to send with a message, so I stated why I wanted the pet. They canceled without message. I offered a vr for their rare pet a 2009 for a rare 2019. They let the trade rot. I canceled with the message suggesting they move that pet to a locked group if they weren't interested in trading.

Their reaction? Block me. Good grief. I guess my mistake was assuming they wanted to trade for pets, not be specific with who they desire trading with.

That said I am guilty of long trade rules, but it boils down to not trading away pets I only have one of. The rest of the rules kind of support this rule or make it easier for me to review the trade to make sure I still have one of that pet or item left after the trade is accepted

Adding to this, when I see people making posts in the forums about looking for trades and then there’s a ton of very specific acronyms and abbreviations I’m unfamiliar with, I immediately click away. I just saw a post saying they’re looking for any “.5MA+” pets. Other annoying acronyms are “Below Gap” and “The SL” and so on. I don’t know what that is. I don’t care what that is. I’m not going to look up what that is. I wouldn’t know where to BEGIN looking up what that is. For those who live and die by the List, A) the List is defunct and unrealistic, and B) most players have no idea what the List is or where to find information about it. Unless you’re prepared to offer links to the List or explain what it is, you shouldn’t be talking in List slang and expecting everyone to know what you mean.thats is the fastest way for me to click straight out of someone’s trade rules or forum post asking for trades.

I cannot agree with you more about people canceling without messages or explanations. It’s not only the complete lack of an attempt when I spent a long time trying to make a good trade with multiple pets, it’s the rudeness.

It’s CS’s Block feature. By foeing someone you block them.
