big problem for me.
this worked completly fine when i first used the updated oekaki yesterday! but a few hours ago i got a new laptop since my birthday is in three days, downloaded java to use the oekaki(was drawing something else on old laptop, and wanted to start working on it) but of course, i couldnt use updated oekaki version drawing on the old one. went to here to work on it, but it never comes up. like nothing happens! it'll have the java loading screen then it'll be grey.

I went to the page and here are the details...

Java Plug-in 10.7.2.10
Using JRE version 1.7.0_07-b10 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
User home directory = C:\Users\Allison
----------------------------------------------------
c: clear console window
f: finalize objects on finalization queue
g: garbage collect
h: display this help message
l: dump classloader list
m: print memory usage
o: trigger logging
q: hide console
r: reload policy configuration
s: dump system and deployment properties
t: dump thread list
v: dump thread stack
x: clear classloader cache
0-5: set trace level to <n>
----------------------------------------------------

That's odd, those are the normal messages that appear while starting up, with no errors. Can you try this for me?

Go to Start -> Control Panel, then to "Java". If you don't see Java, you might need to switch to Icon View or Classic View first. From the Java popup, go to the Advanced tab. Tick "show console" (near the top), and tick the box "show applet lifecycle exceptions", then click Apply.

Close and reopen your web browser, then try to draw in the new forum. You should get a little pop up window with a bunch of text in it. Please copy that log and paste it here. (Afterwards you can go back into Java settings and tick "Hide console" again which is the default).

I did exactly what you said and it brought up two windows. One would not let me copy what it said and the other said this:

When I try to download the newest version of java it downloads fine but then says a downloaded file is corrupted...
I can't re-download the most recent java I had (1,4,2,12 I think.) so... help? D:

That is really, really weird. Can you get a screenshot of the contents of the other window? I think it might be the key to solving it!

Awesome! I haven't tried drawing with the new Oekaki yet though I checked it out. I suddenly like it much more now that it's possible to post rotated drawings, no more rotating everything on photobucket for me.

yeah, i sort of hated this new version, mostly because it messed up my whole arrangement of the palettes, but now that you can rotate it and stay that way, even when you zoom 100%, i suppose ill learn to get used to the new set-up.

i mean, you still cant change the size of the palettes, and that really annoys me and im not sure why you wouldnt be able to... but really, this rotating thing was the best idea ever, and it kind of makes every other aspect pale in comparison.
