Since it's too big, you'll need to resize it. If you don't want to use this size which oekaki provides for you, you could try Iaza or Resize your image to do that.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. To create a duplicate of oekaki, click "color me in", it will create a duplicate. If you want to copy and paste something while drawing in oekaki, this is how;

You can choose what you want to copy with the, uhh selection too? The first tool, anyway. Then you go to Edit > Copy or Copy Merged if you want to copy the stuff from all layers in the selection. Then you just paste. ovo (Ctrl + C works for copying too, and Ctrl + V for pasting)
You can copy layers by choosing a layer and then going Layers > Duplicate.

If you meant to copy something from outside oekaki to oekaki, you can't. Sorry. It's not possible to bring stuff from outside sources to Oekaki.

I think you can answer the questions if you know the answer. C:

That's more of a thing you just have to experiment with, since there's no rules or one way to how to shade and so on, but I'll try to give a bit of advice. Maybe try lowering the opacity of the brush? Or do the shading on another layer, and then you can later adjust the layer opacity and/or the layer blending mode?

Thank you for trying to answer, and goodie. c:

Well, I do not think its something to experiment withthing, and I have seen some new members doing it for their lineart. Should I provide a screenshot of what it looks like when I do it?

This is more of a technical thing, but when I click 'File' to save it, nothing happens... What should I do?

Upload it on photobucket/tinypic and change the size into 100x100 or smaller. Then put it as your avatar.

Right-click on your Oekaki and select "Copy image"(for pasting it into other drawing programs) or "Copy Image Address" and paste the image adress between to post it in a post on CS.

It must be something with your computer.

Hi! So i have a question: How do you colour in something? Or change a colour of something?

I took this viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1182863
and after reading this a hundred thime, I undersood how the layers work, though a have no clue what "Lock alpha" means (yes, I did read it, but i don't get it), and then I wanted to change the coulour, to "fill" it, but it didn't work! Can I oly change it's colour if I put the colouring away and try if on my own with a brush? Because even after if was gone I could not fill in anything!

This is my first time using Oekaki, and I really don't get, so it would be nice if you tried to help me a bit...

Thanks,
Rue-Chan

Have you selected the "color" layer somewhere at the bottom of layers? If so, in the Layers Box, you have a text which says "Lock Alpha" and a tiny box next to it. Click the tiny box so it's ticked (while having layer "color" selected aka darker than other layers) and go over the color place with any color you like. I have tried it and it works for me. I hope it helped, and if not, tell me and I'll take some screenshots. :33

Wow, this is amazingly helpful. I haven't hada chance to use the Oekaki, but I have been able to check it out before. I'd had no clue how it worked, really, and this guide of yours helped to clear it all up for me.
I do have one question, though; How do you create all of the different layers? I've seen on one of the Editables that it had several layers for different types of tails, wings, etc. and I'm not sure how you do that. Thank you!
