Halitus Lupus, or Halies for short, are a type of Canine. Halies are born with no tail, and over time develop a whispy, steam-like tail, that they are known for. Where Halitus Lupus are from, they considered spirits, and are revered as such. Even though now a days we know they are just uncommon canines, people who live in the same areas as these wolves will often leave out bells to attract them. Speaking of such, Halies are extremely curious creatures by nature, and find small, noise making objects like bells irresistible. People will often fashion collars with bells on them and put them places for these intelligent canines to find and put on. When a Hallie finds a bell, they will often strut around, showing off their new trinket to the world. They are partially scaled to help them with swimming. They have powerful leg muscles and slightly webbed toes to help them. When adopting, you can leave their 'lore' a bit, and have music loving Halies that work at a bakery, if you want.
