I love birds, but my family doesn't. Dx Frogs are so kyoot! )3(

BIG bummer for me today.
When I went to see the snake, and it was gorgeous, but EXTREMELY quick and snappy. And I mean EXTREMELY quick. As in you put your hand near the thing and its gone in a split second. So I ended up without the snake. =( That was on top of the fact that the teenage boy trying to sell it to me was VERY pushy and had anger issues. Me and my family where at the door of the house when we heard a huge roar. Creepy lunatic. I'm feeling bad for the snake now. :I
I'll stick to ball pythons, thank you very much. x.x I'm trying to find a nice albino ball now.

Wow. o.o So sorry for you and the snake. :(

An albino? I've never seen an albino snake before. Is it like the one in your signature? o3o

Albino snakes (specifically ball pythons) are absolutely gorgeous, but expensive. There are *hundreds* of ball python morphs of nearly every pattern and color imaginable (nothing neon or crazy though), and albino is one of my favorites. :3

This one is cheap ($340), and a very pretty female albino:

And this is the handsome ball python I currently own, a male pastel morph named Bee:

He cost me $110.

    It is! ^-^ I love leopard geckos almost as much as I love ball pythons. :3 'Mudpie', thats one adorable name! x3 My sister used to own a gigantic leopard gecko named Kuma but she ended up giving it away because coping with the price of food Kuma ate was difficult. She was one of my favorite pets while it lasted. ;-;

    Her old leopard gecko: Kuma

This is my sister's new female veiltail betta fish:
    Opalescence (Opal for short)

And 2 days ago we discovered my sister is severely allergic to her new baby guinea pig:
    Matilda

So today she'll be given a tiny desert tortoise just slightly larger than the size of a quarter.
And a few minutes ago she just got a tiny African Dwarf Frog to be a companion in Opal's tank, and I got a very pretty black angelfish with metallic blue and green stripes.
All this in the last week. Ergh.

Aww, well thank you.
Yeah it is pretty hard to cope with feeding them. The crickets
just die too darn fast!
You guys must have a ton of pets. I would love to have
like a ten gallon tank with a few African Dwarf frogs in
it!
What do you think you're going to name the angelfish?
She sounds so pretty.

Oh, I know. Kuma was on a diet of mostly crickets since we bought her, but after 2 weeks passed by we decided to put her on mealworms. It worked out pretty well!
We have 5 dogs (Summer, Cosmo, Missy), 2 puppies (Lyla, Candace), many fish in a 55gal tank, separate betta fish in mini tanks (Hercules, Opal), a snake (Bee), a hamster (Squidge), and a guinea pig (Matilda). We gave away our 3 chickens (Peggy, Linda, Rachel) on Sunday to a friend. Matilda is going to be given away due my sister discovering a severe allergic reaction to her. =( However, she is also getting a tiny baby desert tortoise today. Having many pets is great but stressy too. x.x Do you have any other pets?
I think getting African Dwarf Frogs is a great idea! They aren't at all expensive to keep. Pondy (don't ask), my sisters Dwarf Frog, is gorgeous and fun to watch. All he eats is Opal's betta food pellets. On top of this, we believe Opal is in love with Pondy. x3 She follows him everywhere (never attacking him, just following him) and gives him little kisses. At one point we thought she was trying to mate with him...
I ended up naming the angelfish Fluke. ^^ My sister said he looks manly so he ended up being a boy. xD
