Blooding Shoulder:(all three top examples[Flea bitten Grey on bay, Grey on liver chestnut, Grey on black])
Bloody Shoulder is a type of Somatic marking, where there is an area on the body of a grey Bicorn that the grey gene simply doesn't show. Typically used for Bicorns who have a bay or chestnut base so it looks like they have a 'bloody' shoulder.
Somatic Marking/Mutation:
Somatic mutations are when barker spots/base coats show through due to genes just not working properly.
Examples:
-Bottom left: Bay base with darker areas from the black gene being more prominent in areas it shouldn't
-Bottom middle: buckskin, where you can see spots of the bay base showing through where the cream gene just isn't working in those areas.
-Bottom Right: Chestnut with darker chestnut/liver chestnut splotches
