Personality/further info:
Ansin is a creature located in the waters near Davy Jones' Locker. What he does is simply act like a creature in trouble or a creature that is being dragged down by some arms coming up out of the darkness in the water. Logic says that if you are a creature with any sort of emotion, then you'll probably have the empathy to try and rescue it. However, if you try to "rescue" Ansin, you'll be captured by several more arms hiding in the darkness and Ansin will be immediately released by the other hands as they drag you and throw you back onto shore. The arms will then return to Ansin, ready to snatch up their next victim.
Ansin is never in trouble when this happens. The arms, although not attached to Ansin physically, are a part of him and cannot live without him. He can mentally control them if need be, but, for the most part, they are sentient all their own. Ansin is also always tangled up in rope. Sometimes the rope is loose, other times the rope may be tied around him and/or some of the arms; this is usually to add to the illusion of him being trapped.
Besides acting as a living trap, Ansin can also be seen patrolling the waters, playing with nearby fish, and cuddling up to sharks. He gets a good kick out of successfully trapping victims, but, for the most part, he just sees that as a job. He really prefers to prank the other nearby creatures for fun and dig around in the sand for whatever catches his interest. Ansin can leave the water if he wants to, but it can be a little creepy, and very tedious, to wait for a bunch of disembodied arms to crawl their way ashore, so he usually sticks to the water... unless he needs to traumatize a victim, of course.
