This is for a good friend of mine. Her dog died today. In her arms. She told me, it looked like he was smiling. I could feel his heart get slower and slower. Then he looked at me one last time as if saying, "It's all right, don't cry, I'll be okay. Goodbye, I love you." then he closed them, and they never opened again. I wish I could have taken a picture of the moment, but now all I have left, are memories.

Well, this is the picture for her. Its not very realistic, but I hope it'll do. Love you forever.

Wow. That is so sad! I remember when my dog died, only I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. She was hit by a truck and died instantly... Tell your friend I'm very sorry for what happened!

I am very sorry..I what it feels to have a friend, like my dog, Jesse to pass away. He was rather old, 15 in Human years. Therefore, I have known him all my life. Like Raven, I never really said goodbye. He was put to sleep the night he passed away, and I didn't come..Because I was too embarrassed to cry in front of everybody. It was either my pride or him. I chose pride. I feel like an idiot. Sorry, Jesse. I have is ashes right now. I miss you. <3

Thanks everyone. My friend thanks you all too. Yeah I came home from school and my dad said he already took him to be euthanized, i never even got to have the oppurtunity to see him go, like Raven. I really wish I had spent the morning before better. That was my old dog. we have a new one now and its sad to think about whats going to happen but i love having him here now.

I'm so sorry! I totally understand. My Corgi is turning 10 this summer, and most corgi's only live till 7 or 8. He's epileptic, too--My whole family tries not to think about it, but he could go any day. If we forget his meds, he has seizures in front of us and stuff--but the point was I would have done the exact same thing, chosen pride. But I would really, really regret it. So I understand.

My horse,although its not the same as a dog, died of twisted intestines on Christmas Eve two years ago. He was very old, 21,i beleive. I had him all my life and then he just disappeared. Its hard to say goodbye.
