I don't know if anyone remembers me anymore, but I came back to say thank you, and to say goodbye.

I joined on March 22, 2011, and since then my life has been a terrible adventure of ups and downs. I lost my home only to gain a new one (where I slept in a shed and lived out of a trailer until last December), lost and gained friends, and at last found myself.

Through the worst of it, this site and its wonderful community was here for me. I poured my heart and soul into art and writing; when my world was crashing down around me I came here to cope, because this place was the one constant in my life. I was even sadder than I let on, believe it or not. Chickensmoothie - as cliche and mushy as this sounds - was one of the things that saved me, and for that I am forever grateful.

Right now, I'm about to be a junior in high school, I have my grades in check, I have the most wonderful friends anyone could ask for, and I live in a beautiful house with my loving family. I have reasons to live now other than "someday I'll get out of this place". I'm vibrant and happy and whole and I'd like to thank everyone here who helped me through my darkest days.

If you want to keep an eye on what I'm up to these days, I'm removed on Tumblr, and I'm Raeghla on Flight Rising.

So I guess this is it. Farewell everyone, and once again thank you, so much. Thank you. <3

ah rae, glad to hear your life is better now :3 lol you probably have no idea who i am but i was super inspired by your art and i think you're the main reason why i decided to become more determined in improving my art quality and i probably wouldn't have ended up where i am now in terms of my art style, if i hadn't discovered your art! so thank you too ^^

You likely have no idea who I am and I never had the chance to talk to you, but I've been following your art for a few years now. Although I don't know you I'm happy to hear things are going better in your life now! A few years ago when I was a freshie in High School it was daunting at first, but I made some really great friends and made some great experiences. Good luck!
