Mimi has really come a long, long way since I first made her--noting she had been a mistake in the first place. I had originally just been dooldling up a "Stalkers?" banner and I created her as I doodled, then I fell in love with her and couldnt help but keep her. Its almost hard to explain it, and people may look at it and think 'oh she's just obsessed'; but thats really not the case. I think if you're a writer and you're as emotional and sedimental as me, you would understand <3 Mimi isnt only a character I've created to show off and draw, but a distraction and and image of myself in some ways, a part of me tucked away I try hard not to show because most people wouldnt accept it; not that I'm big on needing other's acceptance. She is almost an idol to me, her collection of emotions and expressions and characteristics I've tagged to an unrealistic image, a collage of organized lines. But thats what I love about the power of a character, they inspire you and maybe even others; they can help you thrive to be a dreamer and just help you lose yourself in a world where you feel like you fit in. That's what I love about Mimi, that's why I've become, quote on quote, "obsessed "with her.
Mimi belongs to me, and judging by what I've written above, I trust in y'all to not claim her as your own
I hope other's out there can relate to me in this, if only silently.

And yes, I agree. Soemtimes I feel overly attached, but its just something I hold super close and personal to me. I also agree in that its good to know others out there share this trait with me ^^ <3
