"We can't just leave him!" Kori cried, grabbing Shane's shoulder. The soul sighed.
"It's n-not my d-desision, Kori . . . Jack i-i-is the leader," he said. Kori thought hard, trying to think of something to say that would convince Shane to come with her.
"What . . . What about Stauffenburg? Doesn't he want Haeften back?" she asked, her voice rising. Shane rubbed the back of his head.
"He does, but he can't do anything. O-one member o-of the group isn't e-enough to change Jack's m-mind," he said. "I'm sorry. I-I-I . . . I know you love him . . ." Kori narrowed her eyes.
"I'm going after Haeften. I don't care what Jack says. He doesn't know anything!" she yelled before turning and running. Shane watched her go. He sighed and ran after her.
Piece from a story I'm writing. First time I've drawn humans on here. Turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself.
Picture, story, and characters belong to me.
