A tip for safe passwords! Don't use anything less than 8 characters (preferably more) and the most secure passwords are passphrases, aka long strings of words. https://xkcd.com/936/ <-- This is a good example. Longer passphrases are easier to remember for humans, and harder to crack using brute-force methods.

I noticed the CS doesn't have any password length/security requirements, which is concerning from a cybersecurity standpoint. I only made this account a month ago to relive some nostalgia and never really intended to be super serious on here, but this is a major concern for the community as a whole. I didn't even find out about the hacking until today. Transparency is paramount when there are breaches like this, especially since this site is largely used by children

I agree with this, most sites make people add things so the password has to be secure and an assortment of characters. This site is catered toward a younger audience, who I fear may want to input a less complex password.

Not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure its when someone trades with another person, and the person *somehow* takes back the pets they traded the other person
