The shading you call sloppy is what gives it character and that anime look in my book.

Ren 蓮, 恋 meaning: 蓮 (lotus) or 恋 (romance, love).

Here I am reading what you wrote before the picture loads(my computers a little slow sometimes...), I scroll up and I end up saying out loud "Oh my god" (He's hot XD)
