HELP!!!

Is started making this super awesome new species to make an adoptable, BUT I had an epic dumb and put EVERYTHING on one layer, which means if I try to erase something it erases the background, and I don't know what to do! DX Someone please help me! If you think you can help me out please comment or PM me and I'll let you edit, and even become part of the adoptables if you want! As an artist, mod, anything! :] Just please help!

You should probably trace over the lines on a different layer... Sorry i dont know if you can really like save it from the backround so relining it on a new layers probably the best way.
