A Plate Dragon is a fluffy type dragon. They have 'Scale Feathers' on the side of their cheeks and on their butts! They have scales in most places; Face, Legs, Tail. They also have a Spike on their tail that can range in shape along with different horns that they use for protection and battle. They live in jungles or forests and range from the size of a toy poodle to a wolf as kids then grow to the size of a lion. They are extremely venomous but only use their venom when in danger so they're no threats to Humans! They are feisty but you'll be lucky to have one as your friend if it gives you its trust.

Prompt: Unfortunately, the negative relation was in no fault of their own. The souring stemming from the overwhelming urge of control that the fortune-telling plate dragon,Hayden, needs over any of those around him. Let me explain what happened.
A warmth had set over his tent, a nice pleasant feeling after the cold that had been pestering them for several weeks now. The smell of morning dew and the freshness of the outside, muddled away by the incense he lit, its smoke wafting towards the top of his tent. A trick he had picked up years ago to stop the overwhelming scents of the circus and give a tinge of mystique, the mystique is what really dragged the P$ out of those who stopped by to indulge in their futures. Moving Forward, Hayden took a seat upon a large crimson Pillow, resting his paws on the short table waiting for his first customer of the day.

Riven felt tired, despite not remembering the past several days of their life. Their paws hitting heavy against the moist blades of morning grass. Something sure to gather dust once they returned to the path home. But perhaps their detour today would finally put a restless mind at ease. Approaching the collection of colorful tents, their eyes scanned through games and snacks, platelings and Clowns. Until they found what they were searching for, a tent of purple and gold...the fortune-teller.

Hayden's waiting was short lived, his eyes flicking over to watch the flap of his tent be nudged open. 'What an unusual color' words flickered across the fortune-teller's mind. Watching the green and blue furred Plate dragon push its way in and sit down across from them. "Welcome to my tent of Fortunes! Where your questions may be answered, your qualms quashed, Place forward your question and for a price, Ill allow you a glimpse into your future." his smile was a trademark when selling his craft. His eyes looking into the others as they opened their mouth.

"I wanna know... If this feeling inside of me... when I lose myself for days...what does it lead to? "

The words left the unfamiliar Plate Dragons mouth and made him freeze... That question...what a wierd question... could he answer it? Raising his tail up he gripped it with his paws and gave a shake. The liquid inside swishing around over and over, but the result never came. A frown finding its way across Hayden's face as he turned his eyes to the tired dragon across from him, a permanent smile on thier face from the white marking around their mouth. "Get out... get out now and never come back do you understand!| The fur on Haydens neck stood on edge, his plates shuddered. A ice cold feeling chilling him to the bone. He did not know what was wrong with this stranger...but he was not going to find out.

While initially a friendly rivalry between them, years of being bested by the fiery-spirited flame Plate Dragon began to build up a slight bit of resentment within Maihi's heart.

It wasn't that he was angry with Ko'okiri more than he was angry at himself for not being adequate enough, but hey, it's a lot easier—and a lot more natural—to pin the blame on anyone else but you. Deep in his heart, he knew that Ko'okiri hadn't done any wrong, but having convinced himself for so long that he had, it wasn't easy to break that spiteful thought pattern. Especially because he hasn't yet.

Last year was especially humiliating. Prior to it, him and his fellow Kala clansmembers had been hard at work, refining their magic in every single aspect. Every sparring session he'd have with Ko'okiri drew ever-so-closer to being a stalemate, and soon, Maihi was convinced it would be a win for him. However, that wasn't the case, with an unusual turn of events leading to a close but incredible win for the Tai Nui clan in that year's Competition of the Spirits. While everyone was celebrating the opening of the portal for the strange Plate Dragons to be able to go back home, Maihi was crushed. He scowled at the sight of both clans rejoicing together—this wasn't how this was supposed to go.. He slunk back behind the large fronds of Wuhu's lush foliage, his mind overheating with fury. He'd just have to try harder. To do better... to plan for any circumstance.

As the air shifts from a winter chill to a sweet spring breeze, this year's Competition of the Spirits looms ever closer.
