"I know another way
See it but you won't believe
You can dive in
Into The Dream" A redraw of a piece I made nearly two years ago!
This time starring my character Passion in a fully animal form rather than anthro, and not an ambiguous silhouette, haha
The lyrics here are my best attempt at making out what the song says, so I apologize if they're not quite the same as what you hear.

WOW this is gorgeous, the improvement is crazy!! i love the ripple effect on the water especially, and the colours here are just so striking. the way you shaded over passion just looks SO good and i love how you can tell what the colours are despite being more muted (does that make any sense? xD). this is truly lovely!

Aah thank you! This one was so much fun to revamp and see how much has changed!
Passion is kind of an interesting design, because she's just a stylization of a king cheetah (a rare pattern mutation), but she's supposed to glow purple in full darkness, so I attempted kind of oddly here to show her "dark mode" purple in the places that are in shadow, and the natural colors where the light falls. Since the light is so bright and centralized and the shadows are so dark, the purple areas don't actually appear to be glowing but they still color-change.
As for the ripples - in the original, I gave up on the effect, and I still fought them in this redraw. I tried three different approaches before I figured out my technique. My quality standards have risen as my abilities to use different tools have increased, so this time I was determined to make it happen. I'm glad they came out as well as they did!
Thanks for the appreciation, mizu!
