Okay I got fed up with my lack of pen pressure, and I finally put aside my procrastination to fix this.
And of course it was the simplest fix, I just needed to get an updated version of my tablet drivers (weird how my old drivers worked before I switched to windows 11).

Here's a quick celebratory sketch :)) I'll definitely be more inclined to draw more on cs!
