username; Ranger
pony name; Burbank; aka "Banks"
gender; Male
magic type; N/A, Earth Pony
design notes;Has a scar over his left eye, and scarring on his left flank, as well as his right shoulder. His design is based off of a quagga, and the stripes have no exact position. His mane and tail are short and choppy. Light draft type build. His scars are from an encounter with something in the woods, something as old as pony kind who lurks within the shadows
Occupation; Search and rescue officer to find and save ponies who stray from the town walls.
Personality; Quiet and a little standoff-ish, maybe even a bit scary to those who first meet him. He is terrified of losing the ones he loves and clings to hard on to what little he has, oftentimes sacrificing too much of himself for the benefit of others. Burbank is a very hard worker, and tends to take failures personally. Banks has a softspot for every pony and is very comforting when he needs to be.
Fears; Losing what he loves; the things in the forest that come out at night
Short Backstory; When banks was a colt, he and his friend, Rowan, had always loved the great outdoors, dreaming of the day they could escape the town and explore the wild forest around them. One cold winter, the two escaped the confines of the walls, leaving the world they knew behind them. Rowan strayed too far from Banks, the thick brush swallowing him as his overexcited partner trotted ahead, the sound of Banks' hoofbeats drowning out the cries of his friend. Banks realized rowan's absence, but it was too late. He searched for hours as darkness creeped into the wood, alone and afraid, he curled up underneath a log awaiting the same fate as Rowan. Unexplained noises shattered what little hope Banks had, rustling leaves and the feeling of being watched was too much for him. Just as Banks drifted asleep, weeping to himself, a he felt a nudge at his flank. He looked up at blinding lights shining down on him, it was the flashlight of the search team. They took Banks back to the city, however, Rowan was never seen again. Burbank promised to himself that he would figure out what happened to Rowan, and that he would help those who were lost just as he was.
