American Saddlebreds are great horses. They're show-offy in the show ring, but affectionate in the stable, adoring attention and pats. They have a quick, high-stepping trot and a rocking-horse canter. Some of the horses in my stable will reach out and poke you with their nose if you don't pay attention to them for a while! I ride a black (technically Seal brown) saddlebred named Midnight Eclipse, or Willy. He's still pretty young and just recently I won two Champion ASHA (American Saddle Horse Association) Acadamy Walk trot equitation and pleasure ribbons on him at an ASHA banquet. I ride American Saddleseat Style, I learned on the Morgan Laurel Ledge Moonbeam (Blue for short). Then I rode on a horse named Stedmund for a little while, a horse named VHS Tiffany (Tiffany) for a long time then rode Willy up until now. I've ridden for 5 1/2 years and I'm just starting to canter. (It's about time! >.<) If you touch Willy's nose he's known to lick your hand! ^_^ (Which I think is sweet and cute!) Willy is the best horse ever, and he has a very pretty profile. He's known as a lesson horse, and is very gentle on the newer lesson children. Some of the little kids even ride him in leadline classes! Although Willy's best class is Saddle seat, he can also do harness (pulling a buggy in a class), Hunt seat and Western. I only ride Saddle seat, though. I guess that's about it! ^_^ Bwa ha ha! I made this an adoptable page! Check out my siggie or click the pure white version I made!
