It's a dragon! Rolling around in the grass and such, how cute. <3

Aberash, to give off light.
The egg, a deep crimson color, covered in small spots of glowing light, was found deep in a cave. Abandoned, the cave was, but as they neared the egg, the spots glowed a bright red, and the egg shook a bit. The humans, not taking this as a warning, still bounded forward. Once one tried to pick up the egg, they merely touched it, and their finger tips were burned. Just as they turned to leave, a few noises came from the egg. The spots no longer continued to glow, and the egg cracked open. Out came a small, red little dragon. Spots glowed on it's skin. Realizing the danger even such a small hatchling could put upon them, the humans started to leave. But the young dragon clutched onto a young girl of the group's back. It stayed there, burning whoever tried to pry it off.
Days of studying and taking care of the young dragon, the young girl noted it's species for being incredibly aggressive. But the small dragon was anything but. Except, when anyone got near her, it would be protective. But what of the glowing? She also noted that the dragon could not completely ingulf itself in flame, like most of the species, so assumed that the glow made up for that. Along with incredibly hot skin.
