Species Information
Coat Pattern
-img here-
Almost all Cerninnies have a particular pattern on their coat that they use to aid in blending into their habitat. This may be stripes, spots, camouflage, or something entirely different, but whatever it is, it must help hide them from predators.
Manes
-img here-
Most Cerninnies possess a mane of some sort, whether it be long, short, bright or dull. Very few are absent of one, but there have been a few rare cases where this has occurred. Cerninni manes have no bounds, though they largely do not possess fringes, the manes can be in almost any style and usually either stop at the base of the neck, or extend all the way to the tail.
Horns
-img here-
Ninety-eight per cent of the time, a Cerninni will have horns. Babies will develop them eventually and if one may be broken, they generally grow back. These horns can come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are used for self-defense, play-fighting and battles between males. Although these creatures are known for their gentle nature, their horns can become quite the deadly weapon.
Other
Cerninnies rarely wear accessories
Their tongues are generally the same colour as their horns
Ninnies mate for life
Usually a Cerninni has one calf, however they may breed up to two times
Cerninnies are born without horns, however they grow them as they get older

What is a Cerninni?
A Cerninni [pronounced: Ser-nii-nii], often referred to as a Ninni or a Nin, is a hybrid ungulate with an appearance a mix of a goat, deer and other assorted quadrupeds. Their most distinguishing features are their assorted manes, horns and coat patterns which tends to form in rather organic markings, such as stripes or spots. Ranging from the size of a dog to a horse, these creatures are generally docile by nature and easily tamed with a diet consisting largely of plants and fruits. Will you take one home?
