I love him SO much, it's crazy. I've had the idea of him since April 4th, and he's been in the making for several months. I was first inspired with him after seeing those huge cat gifs, such as this[xxx], and I just thought, "How great would it be to have a huge fluffy cuddly boy to come to at night and cry with, and hug?" (I was tired, it was late at night xD)
Now, some facts about him;
Name: Jupiter [pronounced: joo-pi-ter]
Nickname: Jup [pronounced: joo-p]
Appearance: Much like the planet Jupiter, he has shades of rustic browns and those hues swirling around his fur. His pattern is only semi-symmetrical, as his arms and legs differ[his spot is only on his left side]. His skin is an interesting blue color, but is often times unseen, unless the fur get pushed out of the way. He also has gold flecks in his eyes, and his tongue matches his eyes.
Size: The largest* Jellybean dragon known, Jupiter is roughly eight feet tall. He surpasses the size of Boysenberry by quite a few feet, seeing how Boysen is the size of a large bull. Jupiter hatched prematurely due to his size, and cracked his shell before his due-date. When he was developing, something went wrong in his genes, and he developed a mutation that affected his size. This mutation/disease doesn't have a name yet, and Jupiter is the only one with this condition.
Age: 18 ;; 19 as of Jul 11, 2014
Birthday: July 11th
Personality: Jupiter is pretty much a big cuddly boy that couldn't hurt a fly. He tried to play off this "cool kid" persona and that stereotypical jocky attitude, but he was never very good at it. In reality, he's clumsy and dorky, with a heart of gold.
His favorite hobby is people watching, and he works at a pizza shop just downtown. His mom was a fantastic artist, but that ability wasn't passed onto him. Sometimes he goes through her old things and looks at her paintings, and he interchanges them throughout his home along the year. He likes to support local artists because of his mom though, and he often buys handcrafted cards or jewelry for Venus. He doesn't really care for camping, but sending time outside during the day and then into the evening is fine. He'd rather sleep at home with his wife in a comfortable bed. Some of his favorite dates are going out to the cafe for some coffee and breakfast, or hiking up the hillsides near campus. Bicycling and rollerblading at the place downtown are also very enjoyable, but even staying at home cuddled up to a good movie is nice as well.
Items: A dog tag necklace with "VENUS" engraved on one side, four circle pillows designed to represent Jupiter's moons, and maybe a couple of tail rings since the planet has some really faint rings itself.
Mate: Her name is Venus ♥
