NOT A PLASTIC EYEBALL Psh.Here's a pic I've been meaning to draw for a while. It's how Alias and Thezar got together as partners.
Alias's story is actually quite sad, and he probably would have turned out to be a great and good inventor otherwise.
As a hatchling, his parents were killed by a ferocious mountain lion. Injured, it left before dealing with Alias, who was left with that scar on his face. Alias was far too young to care for himself but with his epical intelligence he made it through, and swore vengeance on the cougar which killed his family.
He set up traps and snares and such to catch himself food, as he was much too injured to venture far from his cave and was slowly dying from his horrid injuries. Thezar came across one of his snares. Hearing the trap activate, Alias hurried to the scene as fast as he could, hoping he caught a rabbit or something. Instead, he found Thezar examining the deactivated snare. From the complicated design of the traps, as it was MUCH more complicated than normal snares, he saw Alias had potential and asked him to join his trip to ultimate power. Alias, of course, was distrustful, but Thezar made the bargain that if Alias helped him, he would get the materials he needs to save himself.
Alias then joined Thezar's lil group with Enilorac already in it (Enilorac who had been found dying in the desert and offered the same bargain), and saved himself with technology. Later, he goes back home, hunts down the cougar, and kills it. He then realizes that if he follows Thezar, he will accomplish his goals, and a GLORIOUS FRIENDSHIP WAS BORN.
Woohoo.
