Shao Adopts
I butchered the Shao's design...T.T I redrew the whole thing more than twenty times (no exaggeration), from start to finish, again and again, but I'm still not happy.
But I thought I might as well post it since I did work hard on this (though it doesn't look it.>.<) and I doubt I can improve on this further.
I'm doing three pieces of art in total for this Shao (maybe more if I get time). I really hope I win him.
I'm naming him Yoen if I get him. Which means 'burning embers' in Japanese.
Timer's off by a few hours I'm sure, I spent about 5 hours on this in total; most of that time re-drawing, only to erase everything to re-draw again.XD
I only like three things about this drawing.
1.This Shao's in it.<3
2. The expression turned out ok.
3. The pizza on the pizza box looks ok.
The pizza box and it's outline are MEANT to be sketchy, I really like the effect it gives.
In my form one of his fav foods is pizza, so I needed to draw him about to eat pizza.:3
Background is semi-based off the design on his back.
I'm NEVER doing that angle of something again. It kills you to draw.D:
