I like him! But personally it just looks like a near leopard appy. Brindles are well... brindle.. Id make the brindle on a different layer and once you make them, and turn down the opacity, to give it that blended/faded/actualness to it. Lol its harder to explain.
Now roan, it starts from the throatlatch area to the body, but leaves the base color* alone on the legs and head. Id make a seperate layer for roan also. I use the airbrush or pen( spacing up high and scattering. Size 1) then do the opacity thing with it also. Roan always has a *base color. Chestnut/sorrel, bay/brown, black, and in more unusual cases dun/buckskin, palomino.. etc. Roan is alot like grey, it starts a little after birth and the horse can whiten as they age. I hope I don't come across rude or anything. If you already knew this then just ignore me. Lol, im a bit of a nut when it comes to this stuff. :3
