Storm Cloud Equine Dancers

Postby die Lille » Sun Nov 11, 2012 12:09 pm

this is now the species of Manx
please ask them for further information =)

Imagination of Species sheet:

these creatures belong to a very old equine species, whose origins lay in the ancient celtic ages. Once they were the rides of the Sidhe gods and goddesses beeing able to wander in and above every element their god would master.
And still they can Dance on water or clouds as good as normal horses do on sand or grass.
They have magical abilities beyond that: the most common one is to produce storms and all kind of weather but some may even manipulate emotions or thoughts.

pedigree:
on the first sight the look like a normal arabian horse... but the have some queer features:
-three thin and flexible tails.... two are very long with a Charm on the tip resembling their element, during the third is short but sharp and may be used by the stallions as a weapon
-they are taller than normal horses but very slender
-their bones consist of a lightweight flexible material which allows to fly, swim and bear very high presure such as tsunami waves, fast winds and jumps from big heights
-there is an obviuos gender bimorphism: the mares are slightly smaller but more colourfull and powerful, the stallions have a lion alike mane an puffy fur on ther lower legs
-Mane: the mane of a SCED displays it's age and Skill level.... a filly with no mentionable skills yet has a short and stubby mane, ana dult mare with a high Skill level has a long and floating one.... some are so powerfull that they'd step on their mane at every step so they have to stay at their element for all the time (swimming or flying or so)....... The stallions only differ in the fluffiness of their manes, displaying their physical strenght for their magical power is quite low
-the fur of a SCED is very short but thick and allways dull! It won't shine unless you throw glitter on it ^^
-colours: the can have any natural horse colour with a hint of it's element in it...manes a most commonly brighter than the body, in rare cases same coloured or darker... markings can be found as in normal horses and some even have dubious signs for using their skills too often

this lineart comes with:

Body lines
shadowing
stallion mane and leg fluffs
non skilled filly mane
skilled adult mare mane
a sketch layer
and my signature ^^

please have a look, I added you to the list, so that you can colour it in... =)
