Finding his name
Fireworks was a troublesome little fellow. His bean friends never knowing when he was going to explode in anger or happiness. He never understood why they never invited him to play the games they did or why they sometimes hide from him. This made him sad and he always felt alone. One day he and his human decided to venture to the fair. It was held every year near their home and he loved it when the bright sparks lit up the dark night sky. He wanted to know what they really were and when he found out he was going t be closer he near trashed his nest with excitement. Finally the day came and he couldn't hold it in. Every few moments he would squeal or giggle at his human and he liked it when she smiled back knowing his excitement. As they walked to the fair he noticed a few other Beans going and he flicked his tail to them in a wave but most shied to their human. He sighed but smiled when he felt his humans hand on his head. Trudging along he heard a fizzle and lifted his muzzle to the dark starry sky just as the first spark went off and then a loud BANG! sounded and he stopped with slight fear and yet he wasn't. The colour showered down turning the world around him into flashes of red and green. Yellow, purple and pink coloured the laughing face of his human and he bounded around trying to catch the few sparkles that made it to the ground. Suddenly he heard a word he knew was his name and he grinned to his human as she spoke the word "FIREWORKS!" He bounded to her and licked her flat muzzle and hugged her close. He was happy they went to the fair and found him a true name.
