Verdana described her Ancient Rune of Death as being "quietly merciful and serious". In the aftermath of a devastating forest fire, Mbarim appears like a wraith from the lingering, curling ash-choked smoke clouds that rise from the dying embers. Death does spare some living creatures, and it seems like this beautiful plant was given a second chance.

It's a favorite of Death...the Deadly Nightshade...
