This most certainly does not belong in beginners, it should be intermediate!

Looks lovley, more sketchy than realistic, but that's still a nice effect.

Wow, this is AMAZING!! I live by a pond that has mallards, so I see ducklings every spring. Thsi looks EXACTLY like one! Feathers are hard, especially when they're waterproof and tiny, but you did a great job! Can't wait to see your future art!

Thanks guys c:
Pokeartkid: Thank you ^^ Yes, I agree that it looks quite sketchy - If I do attempt a realistic style again I will use a softer brush, like this human I drew a few days ago - the different tools/brush types make a lot of difference O:
Thank you MiaMae! I am so jealous that you live next to a pond with ducklings xD They're so adorable ;u; And yes, feathers are hard D:

Pygmy wrote:A duckling swimming in a pond.
This was heavily referenced from a photograph that I took at the London Wetlands Centre.
I wanted to try out a realism sort of style, but I don't feel comfortable copying someone else's photograph, so took my own ^^.
I think this turned out okay. C:

Wow, this is amazing! Looks very very real. You get 2  from me. :D

I’m dealing with extensive medical issues and some medical testing to try to figure out said issues. If I am scarce on here, that's why.
